Summer Flower Doily Crochet Pattern

Depending on the colors of yarn you choose, it can be
 a Daisy, a Sunflower or what every flower you like.
The Flower Doily measures about 8 inches across, 
so it is the perfect size for a candle or candy dish.
And you can crochet this doily out of any 
Worsted Weight (4) yarn or Cotton yarn.
And any colors you like. Solids or Variegated.

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook – H / 5MM
Yarn – Worsted Weight (4) or Cotton (2 colors of choice)
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Space (sp)

Size: About 8 inches across

Notes:
Ch3 counts as a double crochet
Rows are joined with a slst

R: 1 – With first color, Ch 5, join in a circle. Ch3, 11 dc in the circle,
join to ch 3.
(12dc)

R: 2 – ch 4 (counts as a dc, ch1) *dc, ch1 in the next dc*
Repeat from * to * 10 more times, join to ch3.
slst in 1st ch1 sp, ch3
(12 sets of dc, ch1)

R: 3 – dc, ch 2 in the 1st ch 1 sp,
*2dc, ch2 in the next ch1 sp*
Repeat From * to * in the ch1 sps.
Join to ch3, slst in the next ch 2 sp.
(12 sets of 2dc, ch2)

R: 4 – With 2nd Color, ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the next ch2 sp,
Sc, ch2 in the next ch 2 sp*
 Repeat From * to * 5 more times,
Join to the ch3, slst to the ch2 sp.
(6 petals)

R: 5 - ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc, ch3 in the next ch2 sp,
Sc, ch3 in the next sc*
 Repeat From * to * 5 more times,
Join to the ch3, slst to the ch2 sp.
(6 petals)

R: 6 - With 2nd Color, ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc, ch4 in the next ch2 sp,
Sc, ch4 in the next sc*
 Repeat From * to * 5 more times,
Join to the ch3, and ch1
(6 petals)

R: 7 – Single Crochet Edge
*1 sc in the 3 dc, 2 sc in the ch 2 sp, 1 sc in the 3dc, 4 sc in the ch 4 sp,
 1 sc in the sc, 4 sc in the ch 4 sp*
Repeat From * to * 5 more times,
 join to the 1st sc, tie off.
